The Beaufort and Skipton Health Service Foundation
Our partnership with the Beaufort and Skipton Health Service Foundation, established over 20 years ago, has enabled us to make significant purchases of much needed equipment. Directors of the Foundation meet quarterly and through their strategic financial planning are able to support and assist the Health Service to achieve its goals. The Foundation also fosters support within the community for the benefit of the Health Service. The Foundation is always keen to hear from community members who would be interested in joining the Foundation’s Board.
The Foundation is a significant fundraising adjunct to our Health Service, with its own Board of Directors who manage and allocate their funds on behalf of the Health Service.
Members of the community are invited to become a member of the company and the making of gifts including testamentary gifts to or for the benefit of the Health Service are welcomed. The Foundation Directors manage a portfolio of assets totalling $800,000 with a strategic goal of attaining $1M in assets from which dividends may be directed to activities that support the Health Service.
The Health Service Board supports this goal and looks forward to a positive ongoing relationship well into the future.
